[ Rika blinked. This wasn't Hinamizawa, however it had a calming air to it as opposed to all the hostility she had bare back home. To be transported here meant she was supposed to find something. ]
Hanyuu? Are you there?
[ With no response, Rika sighs. The least she could do was walk around and ask directions. However with a familiar 'pika!' she stopped. ]
Hm? Could that possibly be...?
[ She'll run toward the source of the noise and lo and behold, her assumptions were indeed correct. It was Ash in the middle of training. Rika couldn't possibly interrupt them so she sat down while observing in the distance. ]

Alright! Pikachu, use continuous thunderbolts! And Oshawott, you gotta dodge them all--!
[The electric rodent nods confidently as he decides to shoot out thunderbolts, Oshawott dodging each one except for the last one, where he starts rolling towards Rika's direction.
Whoops.
Ash places his face in his palm, a bit embarrassed.]
Come on, Oshawott, you gotta try as hard as you can...
[But when he looks up, he definitely sees a familiar face. Ash's eyes widen in surprise. This wasn't Hinamizawa, so why? Not that he particularly minded.]

[ Rika was glued to the scene before her. It was always a nice change to see Ash. This made her endless June adventure less boring. When she saw the little Oshawott rolling, she decided to run after it to make sure it was alright, but she stops when she hears her name and turns back to give the trainer a nice welcoming smile. ]

[Ash beamed right back at the girl. At least, that's before both he and Pikachu sweatdrop at the Oshawott who's still lying down near Rika.

Oshawott... you can get up now.
[And indeed, the water otter gets up, trying to scramble onto its feet, making sure that he has his scalchop. It then gives Rika a confident smile, chirping "Osha! Osha-wott!"
Which makes Ash laugh.]

They're in Professor Oak's backyard, so we'll have to meet up there. His place isn't too far, though.

[ Rika felt a bit guilty about interrupting his battle, but if he says he's alright in stopping for now... she shouldn't argue with him. ]

Well, one of my friends usually knew the way with a map of some sort, but I can't really read maps myself, so... yeah. I do miss my friends, too. All of 'em. But even though they're gone, they're still here.

I'm kind of confused about how I got here, too. First I was with Cilan and Iris -- and I just won my eighth badge -- and then I'm back home, in Pallet Town!
