it's pretty much an oc party up in here ( open; voice-testing )
ALRIGHT, SO.
This girl is named Layla, and she's the elder daughter of a wealthy family in her unnamed world. The world is usually just called "the World", since nobody wants to bother naming it -- and usually when someone tries to, it ends up in chaos.
She has a younger sister named Dai who thought of herself as the "ugly sister" and one day she sold her soul to some demons to make her more powerful and beautiful. And everyone noticed the change. Dai eventually abused her power (she became a temptress, similar to a siren who ensnares guys) and her parents got mad. So she killed her parents and disappeared. The only one left to blame for this murder was Layla, who was the only uninjured person at the time.
After a long trial, she was considered guilty, since all records of Dai had suddenly disappeared. So, the four mages of the world gave her the harshest punishment, to travel through worlds endlessly, without being able to die. This punishment is given because most people because they eventually go insane and commit suicide.
Layla didn't believe that she killed her parents, and she knew that. But she also knew the truth. So she decided to protect her sister and take the punishment. The spell that the mages cast turns the person into water, so basically Layla travels "through water" during travel, but she cannot control where she goes and when she goes.

[Suddenly, a wild Layla appears! And she's not wearing anything. Hey, we did say water travel, but that doesn't mean her clothes can turn into anything.
This... is very awkward.]

[And this isn't an OC party without an actual... party! Layla has set up the house with a bunch of things: balloons, cake, and a bunch of food. Whenever people arrive, Layla will go greet them, bowing politely and smiling, saying:]
Welcome! I'm glad you could come, haha...

[In the courtyard, the young girl who seems old seems to be staring at the sky. Her voice suddenly sounds a lot wiser than she usually does. And a lot sadder, too.]
Forever, huh. I wish I didn't have to live this way.
